What a privilege it is to capture one of the most important moments in the life of a couple. A wedding is so much more than just a celebration; It is the one event that represents the beginning of the rest of your lives together. It is in this spirit that I always set out to record your story through the lens of my camera. Imagine yourselves as the years have passed, and you are celebrating one of your many wonderful anniversaries or sharing your images with your children, how beautiful would it be to be transported back to your wedding day again and again as you turn the pages of your wedding album. You see, it is your photographs that will immortalize the moments and remain long after the wedding day has passed. To me, photography is so much more than just a memory of what you looked like, or the beautiful details and decor of the venue. My primary focus is to capture the beautiful emotions as you were face to face with the one person that makes you whole. I always do my best to tell the story in the most beautiful and meaningful way, so that it may be cherished and remembered by generations to come.
About my background
My journey in photography began when I was given my first camera as a young kid, and it led me to meet and learn from some of the top portrait, wedding, and event photographers in the world. My first camera was a Polaroid with an instant film that produced square format prints (remember those?). When I was a teenager, I began working at a newspaper in Tennessee, where I was in charge of the commercial photography used in marketing campaigns. I also photographed the people participating in special events to complement the stories published in the local section of the newspaper.
Years later, I had the opportunity to move to Houston, TX, and become a Real Estate Agent. Because I am hyperactive and passionate about helping and working with people, this was a perfect fit for me. Over 19 years in this field have also allowed me to perfect my Real Estate Photography skills.
As much as I have enjoyed photography, nothing had even remotely inspired me to become a portrait, event, and wedding photographer as the day I received the fantastic news that I was going to become a dad. The love for my daughter triggered a passion for photographing people that I had never felt before. I was determined to capture as many beautiful moments of her life as possible, and photography allowed me to do this. I am now the proud father of two beautiful girls! I've had the pleasure of capturing countless wedding memories, and I plan to continue doing this for as long as I can.
